Monster Truck Racing
In Monster Truck Racing - speed and power are the be-all and end-all. Monster Truck Racing is usually referred to as "Heads-Up" racing. Heads-Up racing is where two competitors, Monster Trucks in this case, are paired up after a qualifying run. Normally the race course consist of a straight "drag" style track with sets of four to five "crush cars" to race over. The first truck across the finish line is the winner.

Monster Truck Freestyle
Monster Truck Freestyle is a way for a driver to show his or her's real skill. The drivers have up to two minutes to individually perform on the track without a predetermined course. During freestyle is where you are able to see the raw power and remarkable ability of a monster truck, seeing feats such as a 10,000lbs vehicle doing a wheelie across the arena floor, massive donuts and skywheelies against raw cars. A skywheelie is where a monster truck approaches a set of four to six cars in a row without any ramp; launching the truck skywards landing almost always vertical on the cars and sometimes clearing all the cars in one jump!!
